Keji Hamilton founded Global Centre for Drug Eradication (Nigeria), a registered NGO with the Cooperate Affairs Commission.
He was the project director of House of Joy Rehabilitation Centre, a 45-bed capacity in-patient drug treatment facility. Keji was a key member of the late Afrobeat legendary group The Egypt 80 Band under the leadership of Fela Kuti. He played both the lead guitar and piano for the group for over a decade. It was during his days as a member of the group that he got exposed to marijuana and in the course of experimenting with marijuana that he graduated to cocaine, heroin and several other substances until he became a Junkie. Keji’s battle with this weird lifestyle left him devastated even though he got treated a couple of times at home and abroad, he was never able to stay sober for more than four to five days. However, a supernatural encounter with Christ in a brothel brought him out of the drug lifestyle on the 7th day of May 1994. He has remained sober since then. Today Keji is the senior pastor of Tabernacle of Prayer global ministries, a growing ministry and speaks in crusades, seminars and conferences. Armed with his testimony many lives most especially youths and young adults are always seen thronging to answer alter calls. He is married to the beautiful favour Hamilton and they are blessed with two daughters Mrs Toju Jack and Miss Kimberly Hamilton.
