About GCDE

Global Centre for Drug Eradication was officially registered in 2012 with the Cooperate Affairs Commission. But the history goes back to 1994 when the founder and president Keji Hamilton started reaching out to drug communities like Empire Area in Idi-oro, Akala Street and its environs, idi-araba, etc.  He was majorly sensitizing the inhabitants of these communities about the dangers of drug abuse.
Three to four times weekly he would visit these spots and as time went on he later expanded his scope to tertiary institutions. In the course of his involvement in the rehabilitation of addicts, he found out that 95% of all addicts use drugs for the first time as teenagers.
We visit schools, and drug communities, hold seminars and conferences, and collaborate with youth organizations to educate and inform young people on the dangers of drug use and abuse.
We also speak on fighting drugs in the work environment and also educate adults viz avis parents on how to know the signs to look how to react when they find out their kids are involved and what to do.
Our aims and objectives  speak for itself
